Announcements - CE Admin
Job applications and the supplemental questions: education if it says put in your highest level of education and you have a BS but if the highest box is Associates degree or higher, choose that.  If the question is years of customer experience make sure to put down all customer service experience not just the current job.

If someone resigns you have to turn in a letter a sample can be found on the Intra net and is then sent to manager, Sharon Alverez, Suzan Lopez, Laurie Covington, Liz Sargent and Senior Manager.

The Emergency line for the library is 832-393-1550 this is the line to call to see if the library is shut down.  It is also appropriate to call your manager and assistant manager.

If there is a storm there is a post storm assessment that needs to be done the first day back in the building.  The reason for this is it has to be reported to FEMA.  FEMA will pay some of the costs to fix damage.

VI        Questions or comments

I wanted to be sure that you are aware that later today we expect to do a soft launch of the FY16 Customer Survey.  This survey is being conducted in partnership with Rice and is a continuation of their study into how people are using our libraries; because of that, its’ focus is on usage at our neighborhood libraries.

The survey will initially be sent out to the emails of adult cardholders in Sirsi, and be made available on our web site and our app.  It will then be distributed to Citizens’ Net recipients.  Marjorie will post the information on our social media accounts.  Finally, bi-lingual print copies will be available at all our locationsThere is a cover sheet going out with the surveys asking that the staff:

§  Make the surveys available at the front desk or some other high-visibility spot.
§  Return completed surveys to me – Mary Hammond@ Central Library Concourse Level Suite C177.
§  Contact me with any questions.
City Savvy and other city of Houston document are for staff not the employees.
